中储粮成都储藏研究院有限公司(以下简称：成都储藏院)始建于1965年四川绵阳，1991年迁入成都，先后隶属于粮食部、商业部、国内贸易部、国家粮食储备局、国家粮食局、中谷集团、中粮集团，2004年转制为科技型企业，2010年进入中储粮，现为中国储备粮管理集团有限公司的全资二级子公司。成都储藏院作为国内粮食行业唯一专门从事粮食储藏技术研究与开发的中央级科研机构，是粮食储运国家工程中心共建单位、国家粮食和物资储备局储藏物保护工程技术研究中心、中国储粮害虫防治应用技术研究服务中心和中国粮油学会储藏分会技术支撑单位、国际谷物科技协会成员单位、首批粮油标准研究基地、首批全国职业教育教师企业实践基地、中储粮集团公司职业技能成都认定站、国家高新技术企业，是世界上为数不多承办过国际储藏物保护工作会议（IWCSPP）、国际储藏物气调与熏蒸大会（CAF）两个国际顶级会议的科研机构。2020年入选国务院国资委首批“科改示范行动企业”，2023年入选国务院国资委“创建世界一流专精特新示范企业”。

历经近六十年的发展，成都储藏院已经成为国内一流的粮食储藏科技研发机构，在粮仓工程设计、粮食储藏工艺、粮食保鲜、虫霉防治技术、粮食微生物与真菌毒素、粮油质量标准制定及检测、谷物化学、粮油检化验仪器、仓储设备、电子信息应用技术和储粮科学技术培训等方面具有深厚的技术积淀和行业影响力。先后承担国家、部、省级课题340多项，牵头制修订《粮油储藏技术规范》、《玉米储存品质判定规则》等许多重大国家和行业标准，建成了中国品种最丰富的储粮昆虫标本库，编辑出版了《粮食储藏》、《粮油仓储科技通讯》两本国内仓储行业权威期刊，“氮气气调储粮、内环流控温储粮”获得粮食行业一等奖，参加完成的“粮食储备‘四合一’新技术研究开发与集成创新”项目获国家科技进步一等奖，设计了全球首座架空式粮食气膜仓，并入选“2022年度央企十大超级工程”，为中国粮食储藏和国家粮食安全做出了重要贡献。

Sinograin Chengdu Storage Research Institute Co. Ltd （referred to as "Chengdu Storage Institute"）was founded in Mianyang, Sichuan in 1965 and moved to Chengdu in 1991. It was successively affiliated with the Ministry of Grain, the Ministry of Commerce, the Domestic trade Department, the State Grain Reserve Bureau, the State Grain Administration, the CFCO and the COFCO. In 2004, it was transformed into a technology-based enterprise. In 2010, it was entered the China Grain Reserves Corporation and has become its wholly-owned secondary subsidiary now. As the only central level scientific research institution specialized in the research and development of grain storage technology in the domestic grain industry, Chengdu Storage Institute is not only a co-construction unit of the National Engineering Center for Grain Storage and Transportation, the Storage Protection Engineering Technology Research Center of National Food and Strategic Reserves Administration, the China Grain Storage Pest Control Application Technology Research and Service Center, the technical support unit of the storage branch of Chinese Cereals and Oils Association，a member units of the ICC (International Association for Cereal Science and Technology), the first batch of grain and oil standard research base, the first batch of national vocational education teacher enterprise practice base, the vocational skills Chengdu certification station of China Grain Reserves Corporation, and the national high-tech enterprise, but also one of the few research institutions in the world that had hosted two top international conferences, the International Conference on Storage Conservation (IWCSP) and the International Conference on Controlled Atmosphere and Fumigation of Storage (CAF). In 2020, it was selected as one of the first batch of "Science and Technology Reform Demonstration Action Enterprises" by the SASAC, in 2023, it was selected as a "Creating a world-class SRDI demonstration enterprise" by the SASAC.

After nearly 60 years of development, Chengdu Storage Institute has become the first-class technology research and development institution in the field of grain storage in China. And it has a deep technological accumulation and industry influence mainly in the design of grain storage engineering, grain storage technology, grain preservation technology, pest and mold prevention and control technology, national standards formulation and inspection related to grain and oil quality, research and development of grain and oil inspection instruments and storage equipment, also the training on electronic information application and grain storage science and technology. Chengdu Storage Institute has undertaken more than 340 national, ministerial, and provincial-level research projects, taken the lead in the formulation and revision of many major national and industry standards such as the "Technical criterion for grain and oil-seeds storage" and the "Guidelines for evaluation of maize storage character", established the richest variety of stored grain insect specimens in China, edited and published two authoritative journals in the domestic warehousing industry, namely "Grain Storage" and "LIANGYOU CANGCHU KEJI TONGXUN", the two independently developed technology of "Nitrogen controlled atmosphere technology in grain storage" and "controlled temperature storage by circulation" has won the first prize in the grain industry, the project "Research, Development and Integrated Innovation of the 'Four in One' New Technology for Grain Reserves" won the first prize of the National Prize for Progress in Science and Technology, designed the world's first overhead grain reinforced concrete silo with a dome using inflated forms and had been selected as one of the "Top 10 Super Projects of Central Enterprises in 2022", made important contributions to China's grain storage and national grain security.
